I just heard that a friend of mine lost her mother unexpectedly yesterday. I heart aches for her. I can't imagine it. It makes the lights, decorations and presents seem so worth nothing. Family is worth so much more.
When I was 12, my grandmother passed away on the 23rd. Ever since then Christmas had a small touch of sadness for us kids and a much larger one for my mom.
My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to my friend and her family. I wish there was something to ease your pain.
