In a effort to have more holiday spirit, I decided to post some holiday traditions as well as some holiday memories. So keep your eyes out for future posts on the subject of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Sweater".
My family and my husband's family both have some holiday traditions. There are some that are important for Jay and not for me and vice versa. Jay's family always traveled to Illnois to spend Christmas while my family almost always stayed home. We always went to the midnight mass service on Christmas Eve, while only Jay's grandparents and mom went to church.
Now that we have our only family, we need to make our own traditions. Unfortunately, my family now trys to celebrate x-mas before Dec. 25th because it is too hard to everyone to get off work for x-mas. That worked okay last year because we then traveled to Illnois and celebrated on Christmas there.
This year, we won't be traveling due to traveling at Thanksgiving and school being in session until the 23rd. We are stuck in a disagreement for what to do on actual Christmas since my fam is celebrating on the weekend before.
Hopefully, we will be able to resolve this problem.
